Organizational Mission

The German American Business Council is an independent, non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to assisting German and American companies. Based in Washington DC, the GABC serves its members not only in the greater Washington DC area but also in other US states and Germany. Since its founding as an initiative of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2004, the organization has increased its membership steadily. Its members hold senior positions in their respective companies.

Mutual Exchange

The GABC's goals go beyond helping its members succeed economically in their respective fields by collecting and exchanging expertise in all areas of bilateral trade and business. Its members also enjoy a great variety of program events, which address not only economic and political issues, but also provide opportunities to get together socially.
