Riederer von Paar
Max Riederer von Paar joined Rubin, Winston,
Diercks, Harris & Cooke, L.L.P. as partner. He is a member
of the District of Columbia, New York and Virginia bar, and
is admitted as Rechtsanwalt in Germany (Landgericht München
I). He received his law degree at the Freie Universität
in Berlin in 1992, passed the German bar examination in Munich
in 1995, and received an LL.M. from George Washington University
Law School in 1996, with emphasis on international business
transactions and tax law.
Max Riederer von Paar is also of-counsel
to the Munich based firm HEISSE KURSAWE, a member of Eversheds
International.
His practice is divided between international
business transaction and related matters, including international
litigation and mergers and acquisitions and international
estate and tax planning and asset protection planning for
multinational families.
He is outside general counsel for the
German Embassy and German military personnel in the United
States and Canada, and represents the Federal Republic of
Germany and its entities in several matters as well as a number
of large German not-for profit organizations.
Mr. Riederer is a member of the International
Bar Association, Section on Wealth Transfer and Wealth Counsel.
He also serves on the board of the German School Washington
D.C., the German American Business Councel and the Washington
DC chapter of Justice for Children. He speaks regularly on
international and transnational legal matters and is an adjunct
professor at the George Washington University School of Business
and Public Management, where he lectures on legal aspects
of international business.
