Don Neese
Don Neese is the founder and President
of The Neese Group, which was formed in 2004 to offer aerospace
and defense advisory services to a select group of clients.
The Group has global experience and reach, but focuses on
Europe and the UK.
Don retired from Lockheed Martin in
2004 after a 25-year career, which culminated with his corporate
responsibility for Western Europe. His assignment before that
was in the United Kingdom, where, as Vice President, he was
the Lockheed Martin National Executive with responsibility
for policy, marketing, public relations, sales campaigns,
and all elements of the Corporation’s UK presence.
Don comes from a heritage Lockheed Corporation
background, where he held many positions including Vice President,
Americas; Vice President, Asia-Pacific Region; Chairman, Lockheed
China; and Vice President, International. He established Joint
Ventures in China, New Zealand and Malaysia, and served on
those boards as the Corporate executive.
Don completed the Chinese Language School
at Yale University, has a BA degree in International Relations
from San Francisco State, an MA in Business Administration
from Central Michigan University, and completed an Executive
Leadership and Management Course under Peter Drucker at Claremont.
Don is the Chairman of the British American
Business Association; he was a founding member of the American
Danish Business Councel, and was a charter board member of
the Hellenic American Heritage Councel. He is also the Chairman
of the German American Business Councel, and the Chairman
of the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce.
Don was born and reared in Alabama.
He is married to Melinda and lives on a farm near Paris, Virginia.
They have three daughters: Keri, Lainie and Ashley; and one
son, Christopher.
