John R. Miller is the Director for International Business Development for Raytheon Company in Washington, DC. He is responsible for programs in the countries of Southern and Central Europe, including Turkey, and is also Country Manager for Israel.Mr Miller joined Raytheon Company in 1998, following a distinguished career in the United States Army. He was also a member of the U.S. Delegation to the Conventional Arms Control Talks in Vienna, Austria, and later served as Defense Attaché for Slovakia, Slovenia, and Austria .A graduate of Washington and Lee University, Mr. Miller returned to serve as Assistant Professor of Military Science following receipt of a Master's Degree from the University of Georgia. He is also a graduate of the Austrian National Defense College, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the U.S. Army War College and the Advanced Management Program's Center for Creative Leadership.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Miller serves on the American Turkish Councel Executive Committee, the German-American Business Councel, the US-Spain Councel, and is a member of the Association of the United States Army, the Retired Officers Association, Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Alpha Theta.

Mr. Miller and his wife, Brenda, currently reside in Northern Virginia.
