Health Care Committee Purpose
Cross-Atlantic health care policy leadership, dialogue and education representing German-American health care industry in the U.S. and Germany

Objective
To illustrate the impact of German-American health care/life science companies and organizations, contributing to the U.S. and German economy, expansion in research and job creation with the advancement of health care for U.S. and German citizens

Goals for 2012/13

• Firmly establish a multi-sector health care committee and set meeting schedule
• Collect data and develop a portfolio of educational materials
• Educate on the importance of job creation in the health care industry and the impact German-American companies have on the global economy
• Enhance interactions between German and U.S. policymakers on health care issues Examine feasibility and role of incorporating non-health care German-American business and relevant trade groups into committee deliberations
